The lagoon, in general, is a great place to snorkel. However, IN PARTICULAR, just at the mouth of the inlet (marked in the Google map below) there is an spectacular (dead) coral formation with structures several meters long. This coral structure is a MUST see! (if you are in the area).
You have to pay to get into the Yal-ku lagoon (I think about $10 dlls)... but you can also walk around the rocky beach and jump in right at the mouth of the inlet (bring sandals, rocks are sharp).
