Cenote Car Wash, Tulum

One of the many cenotes near Tulum (See map below)

Cenote Dzitnup, Valladolid

Close to Valladolid, this cenote is almost completely enclosed.

Marquesitas, Puerto Morelos

Marquesitas are a traditional treat from the Yucatan region. They are like a "crunchy crepe" with Dutch cheese and/or your choice of nutella, cajeta, honey, or any number of other ingredients. You can buy them in the center square of Puerto Morelos (from a Marquesita cart). They only open at night.

Muyil Ruins, Tulum

Small ruins with few (or no) tourists. Note that you can also hire a boat to tuor you around the lagoon where you can do some snorkeling.

Cenote Zaci, Valladolid

Right in the middle of the city of Valladolid.

Gran Cenote, Tulum

Gran Cenote is fantastic!... and very close to the town of Tulum. There is a small fee to get in.

Quinta Avenida, Playa del Carmen

The "Quinta Avenida" (i.e. fifth avenue) is the heart of Playa del Carmen. It goes for a mile and it has everything from cafes, to ice cream bars, to tourist traps (lots of them!). It is worth seen!
